The GRAFTTERS Method
Signature protocols
A named protocol means a repeatable, accountable standard — not a technique left to chance. Each GRAFTTERS® protocol addresses a specific challenge in hair restoration, refined across thousands of procedures and applied consistently by every consultant on the team.
Precision Extraction. Maximum Donor Preservation.
GRAFTTERS® MicroHarvest
The GRAFTTERS® MicroHarvest Protocol is a donor-preservation approach designed around the use of small-diameter punches and controlled follicular unit extraction. By minimizing the diameter of each extraction site and carefully controlling graft distribution across the donor zone, the protocol aims to reduce unnecessary tissue trauma, preserve surrounding follicular units, and maintain the visual homogeneity of the donor area.
The objective is not simply to harvest the maximum number of grafts, but to obtain the required follicular units while protecting the donor area as a finite biological resource for the patient's current and potential future needs.
Single-Follicle Precision for Natural Hairline Architecture.
GRAFTTERS® MicroSelect Hairline
The GRAFTTERS® MicroSelect Hairline Protocol is based on the selective identification and utilization of true single-hair follicular units for the frontal transition zone. Rather than relying on randomly selected grafts, follicular units are classified according to hair number and morphological characteristics, allowing appropriate single-hair units to be reserved specifically for hairline construction.
Strategic placement of these refined single-hair grafts at the leading edge helps create a softer transition between the forehead and areas of increasing density, while careful control of angle, direction, distribution, and irregularity is used to reproduce the architecture of a naturally occurring hairline.
Comprehensive Restoration. One Integrated Two-Day Strategy.
GRAFTTERS® GIGA48
The GRAFTTERS® GIGA48 Protocol is an extensive two-day transplantation strategy developed for appropriately selected patients requiring restoration across multiple scalp regions. The protocol combines meticulous surgical planning with the strategic utilization of available scalp donor follicles and, when clinically appropriate, selected beard-derived follicular units.
Rather than treating the frontal, mid-scalp, and vertex regions as isolated procedures, GIGA48 approaches the scalp as a complete aesthetic unit. Donor resources, graft characteristics, recipient priorities, density distribution, and long-term hair-loss progression are evaluated before surgery to determine how available follicles can be allocated for the greatest overall aesthetic benefit.
Dividing the procedure across two coordinated operative days enables extensive transplantation while maintaining structured graft handling, donor management, and recipient-site planning throughout the procedure.
Precision Planning. Reduced Ex-Vivo Time. Optimized Graft Viability.
GRAFTTERS® Pre-Slitting
The GRAFTTERS® Pre-Slitting Protocol is a structured recipient-site preparation technique in which the recipient slits are strategically created before graft harvesting begins. By predefining the distribution, density, angle, direction, and depth of implantation sites in advance, the surgical team can proceed efficiently from extraction to implantation, minimizing unnecessary graft manipulation and reducing the time follicular units remain outside the body. Combined with controlled hydration, temperature management, and atraumatic graft handling, the protocol is designed to optimize the conditions that support follicular-unit viability while maintaining precise control over the final aesthetic architecture of the transplant.
Redefining Vertex Restoration. Maximizing Visual Coverage.
GRAFTTERS® Crown360
The GRAFTTERS® Crown360 Protocol is a proprietary vertex transplantation approach developed by the Graftters team to overcome one of the most challenging limitations in hair restoration: achieving effective visual coverage of the crown. Conventional implantation patterns may provide suboptimal perceived density in this anatomically complex area. Crown360 introduces a new graft-distribution strategy based on precise reconstruction of the natural whorl, controlled changes in angle and direction, and strategic allocation of follicular units across the vertex.
The protocol is designed to maximize the visual impact of every transplanted graft and achieve up to 95% of the planned aesthetic coverage in appropriately selected cases, while maintaining the natural three-dimensional architecture of the crown.
